- Is the Salar de Uyuni open year-round?
- Yes. The dry season (May–October) gives crisp horizons and the classic forced-perspective shots; the wet season (December–April) creates the mirror-water reflection but some tracks become impassable.
- How fit do I need to be for the Huayna Potosí climb?
- It is rated PD (slightly difficult) — no prior climbing required, but you must be fit, comfortable on crampons, and acclimatised. We run two days of acclimatisation and basic ice-climbing practice before the summit push.
- How dangerous is the Death Road MTB ride?
- We use full-suspension bikes, body protection, briefings, and support vehicles. Conditions on the old Yungas Road are demanding but the modern operation is well-controlled — over 25,000 riders descend it per year.
- Where do tours typically start in Bolivia?
- Salar de Uyuni tours start in Uyuni town (overnight bus or short flight from La Paz). Death Road and Huayna Potosí start in La Paz with hotel pickup.
